  As part of the Federal Government’s strategic efforts to expand and modernize Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) across Nigeria, Nigeria's Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, has paid an official visit to the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST)  The Minister who was warmly received by the President of UDST, Dr. Salem Al-Naemi, alongside other members of the university’s senior leadership, toured the University’s renowned Certificate School, a specialized institution focused on competency-based TVET education and internationally accredited technical programmes.  Alausa commended UDST for its strong emphasis on practical training, workplace readiness, and industry-aligned certifications key pillars of Nigeria’s ongoing skills development reforms. Online Real-Time Classes Initiative. This transformative initiative targets the persistent shortage of qualified teachers and the need to guarantee uninterrupted learning across the country. The Minister reaffirms Nigeria's Commitment To Achieving Universal Access To Safely Managed Climate-Resilient WASH Services In Line With SDG 6. Nigeria's Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, Engr. Prof. Joseph Terlumun Utsev, has reaffirmed the country's commitment to achieving universal access to safely managed, climate-resilient WASH services in line with SDG 6. The Minister stated this when he declared open the 2025 National WASH Systems Learning Forum in Abuja. NYSC DG Restates Zero Tolerance For Data Manipulation In Mobilization Of Graduates For National Service.

The Director General of National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, has stated that over the years, NYSC has earned public confidence for its transparent mobilization process, and would continue to sustain the credibility of the exercise, by ensuring that the integrity of the human, technological and other material resources deployed for the activity remain solid. This is as he restated the zero tolerance for any act of fraudulence in the mobilization of graduates for national service.  The central message was contained in the keynote address by Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, at the 2025 Batch 'C' Pre-Mobilization Workshop, which was held in Abuja. Digital Lending: FCCPC Sets January 5 Deadline For Compliance

Federal Competition And Consumer Protection Commission  The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) has set Monday, 5 January 2026, as the deadline for full compliance with the Digital, Electronic, Online and Non-Traditional Consumer Lending Regulations, 2025. The Regulations came into effect on 21 July 2025 under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA) 2018.  It aims to promote fairness, transparency, and accountability across Nigeria’s growing digital lending market. In a Press Statement signed by Ondaje Ijagwu, Director, Corporate Affairs of FCCPC, it stated that,  "To support operators in meeting the required standards, the Commission has issued an additional instrument, the Guidelines on the Digital, Electronic, Online and Non-Traditional Consumer Lending Regulations, 2025, made under Sections 17 and 163 of the FCCPA.  According to the statement, "This document provides practical direction for lenders and intermediaries...
