FG has commissioned the Aviele Model Veterinary Hospital in Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State as part of ongoing efforts to modernize veterinary healthcare delivery, strengthen livestock productivity, and enhance food security across Nigeria. Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, the Minister of Livestock Development,  Idi Mukhtar Maiha, described the facility as a major milestone in the Federal Government's livestock transformation agenda under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The Ministry of Livestock Development (FMLD) has called for stronger stakeholder collaboration, increased resource mobilization, and accelerated preparations ahead of the 9th All African Conference on Animal Agriculture (AACAA), scheduled to take place in Nigeria from August 9–13, 2026. The Director General of Energy Commission of Nigeria, Dr Mustapha Abdullahi has stated that,  "We want Nigeria to be a hydrogen hub where we cannot just utilise, but export to other African countries.
