Chikun/Kajuru Youths Pledge Continued Loyalty To APC, Debunk Marginalization Claims,


Recent media reports making the rounds about the marginalization of youths from Chikun/Kajuru in Kaduna State, has been debunked.

In a Press Statement issued by the Chikun/Kajuru Progressives Youths Vanguard, the group vehemently debunked the reports alleging that the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency has been sidelined in the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) congresses.

The statement signed by Hon. Ayuba Sambo Isah, Chairman of the  group,  described the claims as “mischievous and misleading,” attributing them to individuals they labeled as impostors seeking to create unnecessary tension.

Hon. Isah stated that the individuals behind the allegations, do not represent the interests of the constituency.

He emphasized that one of the  complainant of the so called marginalization, is a native of Kajuru, who was actively involved in the congresses at his Maro ward and Kajuru Local Government, and that a signed document bearing his name and signature exists as proof.

“We challenge anyone to bring forward evidence to show that all the executives that emerged from these congresses are not indigenes and residents of Chikun and Kajuru, respectively,” Isah said, adding that the elected leaders are “our friends, neighbors, and brothers.”

The Vanguard Group highlighted the significant investments and developmental projects brought to the constituency by the APC administration, including road construction in Millennium City, dualization of Ungwan Sunday road, ongoing work on the Romi-Karatudu Road, and the Kakuri to Nasarawa (Flour Mill junction) road.

Other achievements mentioned include upgrading the Primary Healthcare Centres, fertilizer distribution to farmers, construction of new schools, and provision of free transportation for workers.

“These are the dividends of democracy that matter to us, not the bellyaching of spent political forces,” Isah remarked.

He criticized those alleging marginalization of Chikun/Kajuru Constituency for airing their grievances through the media instead of using internal party mechanisms, describing their actions as “a lack of home training and a desperate craving for attention.”

Isah reiterated the constituency’s commitment to supporting the APC-led administrations at all levels, stating, “Our focus remains on the consolidation of the progressive gains we have made, and we stand solidly behind our party to ensure all-round victories in all contestable elections.”

The statement concluded with a call for unity and continued support for the party’s programs and policies, emphasizing that the Chikun/Kajuru constituents will not be distracted by “the noise of a few disgruntled elements.”
